What do you guys think of the aftermarket projector headlights made for the 5th gen prelude:
Search for them on ebay and you will find them.
I think they are to expensive... because even the mercedes 2006 model aftermarket headlights are cheaper then the ones for the 5th gens.
If you guys reach of get info on cheaper aftermarket projection hl. post them so we can all enjoy of it.
eh. screw the one on ebay. you want a good projector retrofitted headlight talk to Brian E prelude1987 on most prelude sites or BCE retrofit service on myspace http://www.myspace.com/bceretrofits

yes. you have to send a pair in. read all the info on his site
i cant tell you for sure how much they would cost. i got mine for 800 but it was when he had a group buy. so chances are they would be slightly cheaper.. he offers like 2 different retrofits TSX and some BMW housing (E46 i believe). you would have to message him for all the information.

Steer clear of the ebay ones. They're halogen projectors, not HID so the light output would be crap to begin with. BEing halogen projectors, you couldn't really add a HID system to them, I'm not 100% why, but that seems to be the general concensus.
If you've got the $$$ to spend, Brian (Prelude 1897) are the way to go. Otherwise, give it a go yourself; apparantly it's not hard. I even found a step by step somwhere as well. I'll see if I can find it.

Those ebay ones look fishy, plus they are too expensive. Go for the TSX style, it looks much better than the e46 style.

You actually "CAN" Put Hids in the Projectors... Yes.. They are Holagen Projectors But they will still be brighter then the Holagen Bulbs. My friend got a set and i gotta say.. His Hids look More Consentraded then mine. I just dont like Ricer Parts thats all.

could I see some pics? This seems to be the new craze cause I remember seeing these lights show up when I do my typical search on ebay and I was like: "no way!" I can't really comment on them cause I know nothing of them.

so the halogen projectors don't work well with an aftermarket HID system? It would be expensive but there aren't many other options for getting that look
