Gonna get new shocks and struts to drop my car. I have 2.25" springs and was wondering what would be a good shock for this application? 92 Prelude si 2.25 drop springs,17x7 Enkei's with 205-40-17's

shocks are the same thing as struts, btw

kyb's, tokicos, or koni's. can't go wrong with any of them.

NO... there not..

Our cars have struts.

Shocks are usually on trucks and SUV's.

I have looked at some kyb's and tokicos but some things I have read have said not to go below say 1.5 to 1.8 inches of drop with these? I just dont want to drop 300 on struts just to blow them

How far have you dropped yours? On another site I go to someone suggested Tokico whites?

I went with Tiens... but they kinda pricey.

I have KYB AGX on my accord and i love them the adjustablity of them is very nice. I put billstein's on the prelude and i like them alot too. kinda just depends on what you want to go with the car.

I have JIC magic. they're amazing. but expensive.

Tokico Illumina's (whites) are really nice for the price, and they're fully adjustable. ditch your springs and get the full coilover package for around $500

ive had an epiphany and decided not to do my own combo. i was gonna go with kybs and some sleeves or just tein s tech springs but decided against it due to having to find the spring rates. so im just going with the tokico illumina's (whites)

cheaper too. kybs are 400 and the springs/sleeves are around 300 compared to 500 for the tokico's

not to mention the fact that they're engineered to work together.
