I'm excited bout the 7 although its gonna take about 8 grand to get it in the shape I want it. I'm basically starting from scratch cause neither engine runs that came with it and the tranny is shot. I'm hoping once I crack both engines open, I'll at least be able to take parts from one and rebuild the other and sell it for some cash. I want a S5 T2 swap.

Thanks bro. If you can get some undented black 4g lude fenders, I'll grab them as well. My fneders are going to hell. ****ing asshole have dented the **** out of the whole damn car. You should see closeups of my ****ing doors and the whole ****ing car. I got dents in places where they have no business being and I sure as hell know I didn't do it. :mad:

Physically, the 7 is in WAY better shape, even with the cracked paint job.
Mechanically, it's a diffrent story.

ah yes the 7's are sweet...only if there was a LS1 in the frame rails lol... naw who am i kidding, the sound they put off is kickarse IMO

I just saw a street car rx7 run 9.78 in the 1/4 mile. Full Interior and all.... That things a beast.

My reason for buying... I don't plan on building it that far though. I'll be happy with mid to high 12's. I do plan on keeping the whole car and not gutting it or anything. The car was designed to be light weight so I wouldn't lose as much weight taking the same stuff out of it as a Lude. The only thing at this point I'm taking off the 7 is the spoiler. It's made of rubber and weights maybe a pound or 2 but I just don't like it.

I can drift decently but its too expensive so its gonna be a drag/autox car.

ah i see, and yes agreed drifting can be costly.... especially if you do it in the hills like around where iam at...usually ppl end up rolling there cars or worse...but then again they attend the autox just to drift

Imma just put some lower springs to go with the Koni shocks already on it and a rear strut bar and call it a day.
