For a good header and I mean GOOD. Be ready to spend around $800+ (Hytech, SMSP, RMF, etc.). Yes it is a lot but if you search around any Honda forum, those custom headers are proven to be very beneficial.
If you just want to get a header that cleans up the engine bay but doesn't do much power wise, check out the DC header.

i read bad things about dc header. i was looking for a power improvement but not looking to spend more than 400-600 dollars. any other types that might not be so expensive but are worth it? also anyone know of a good header install faq?

The only other header that supposedly has good gains and is less than $600 is the Camp 1320 header, but if you read around on Honda-Tech, it is required to either purchase a traction bar or mess with the stock crossmember beam IIRC, might want to read up on that though because I'm just telling you stuff from what I read.
And there's nothing wrong with the DC header, it's just the design that sucks.

Well i to have been working on my 99 & was wondering if the Hytech, SMSP, & RMF headers or good for daily driver cars & wont mess up the car if I do drive the car everday. If not, what headers give out the best performance for a 5th gen thats driven everday. I dont care about $$$, just need the best for my ride.
