most of the time on passenger cars it is under the back seat. there is an aluminum plate under the seat that is right over top of the gas tank. so you dont have to drop the tank.

undo all the connectors, lines, and hoses connected to the gold top.
undo the banjo bolt in the middle. THIS is your fuel line, so there will be some fuel coming out of it. just wrap a rag around it when you loosen it. there will also be some gas coming out when you take off the other black rubber hose too.
take off the 6 10mm(???) bolts holding the top on.

your gonna hafta angle the FP in VERY weird angles, prolly cut up your knuckles a bit bending sh*t outta the way, but just stick with it, and it'll come out eventually

a bad fuel pump can do that...most times its a clogged fuel line or filter. does it feel like you dont have the same amount of power? if so then test the fuel pressure. if the fuel pump was bad then the car most likely wont even start

if it starts its not the fuel pump. could be low pressure, clogged fuel lines, or the fuel filter. take the fuel pump out and you might as well replace it while its out. replace the fuel filter as well. if that doesnt fix it then you may have to replace the lines.
