:mad: ok well i got a idle problem and i cant seem to fix it it revs from 1300 to 2100 ive talked to ppl and they said that a wierd patern cuz other are at different rpms but anyways its hand to pinpoint the problem since i havent goten any really answers to my problem also this might be a dumb one but my car aint got a cat and some ppl also said that if there is no cat then it will backfire my plugs are good and so is the spark so idk what makes it backfire also when i downshift it will backfire also if any ppl have a ps pump that is for a b20a hit me up cuz im lookin for one well thats bout it

the crazy idle can be caused by many things...what have you done so far to try and fix it?

If you have no catalytic converter, yes, you may have backfire...also it depends on your muffler too...

eh i dont really get that much backfireing out of my car and i dont have a cat or anything, i mean i can make it backfire when i want to but under normal driving no probs, but i would check for exhaust leaks, i know the black one had a hole in the flex pipe and it made it backfire really bad!

you might have a air leak in your intake manifold.
