I just picked up a 94 SRV and liked to know what the best and loudest air intake system would be. Any help greatly appreciated.

There's several threads on here about that. Search. It's all in how much you're willing to spend.

The type-s intake it's supose to sound sweet and has more midrange power gains than inje aem or all other popular intake, the CAi and short rams will give you better gains at the top end. Midrange is usually under rated but think about it? are you always in high rpms? No! most normal driving is done in midrange.

Hell, usually the filters that come with the piping are worth something for a while. When they get dirty, toss it THEN get K&N.:sadwavey:

AEM ftw.. I never really cared that much, until one day when I was walking around my car at idle and heard this wooshing sound like a washing machine sucking the water out.
Turns out it was my beast intake suckin up all the power. lol
I forgot that sometimes at night with the windows down I can hear it really clearly when the sound bounces off the trees.. it's damn cool.

I ordered a polished Injen short ram intake for my '94 VTEC from ProStreetOnline.com
I'll post some pictures once I get it installed.

I have the piping from an H23A1. Does anyone know if it's the same diameter as an H22A1?

Thanks. I'll put it on with a K&N and see how it runs.

the AEM V2 is by far the loudest crazyest sounding intake with some kind of piping but if you want to go all out bet ITBs

If I put a big K&N on the piping that I have wouldn't it be the same? I noticed that the big K&Ns sound pretty good.
