as above, anyone using two step/anti-lag on a turbo car?? and is it effective?
I had it before. Doesnt really help with lag.
Wanna get rid of lag on a turbo car.
Main things to do.
#1. Make sure you have a intake system on your turbo. Driving with out a proper intake system will cause a unbalance air flow going in the turbo, creating more lag.
#2. Try a more free flowing exhaust. Changine the exhaust on a turbo car is a Major difference in power. If you have a 2", Try 2.5". If you got a 2.5" get a 3" made if you can. Run No Cats. Open all the way if you can. But please keep a muffler at the end. Or it will get really load.
#2. Get a External Wastegate. Waste Gates are is mostly the reason why you may have lag in the first place. Try a Tial wastegate are atlease a Deltaforce combined with a well function boost controller that can control gain on the wastegate.

Not to be an ahole... u really wastin a money if u buy an intake system for ur turbo.. just get a mesh. IM just wondering how effective is it on a big turbo aka gt42r??? i've used anti-lag b4 on the t66, it was very effective and full boost everytime i shift but just want to know, how effective would it be a big turbo like that.

Just get a mesh... Hahahah..What ever dude.
I been there done that. Dont beleive me. who cares. I have a turbo you probably cant spool to 5 gran. **** sucks...
After intake. alittle over 4 grand. I jsut cut my all motor intake and made one. You also dont lost to much and return to max boost after shifts much faster.
Mesh is fine is you dont mind the little lag it makes.
And i have A T67. turbo remember. If i didnt feel are see any noticeable difference. I would not post it.

It is smart to have an intake on the turbo.
Anti-lag is effective. By adding more fuel you are making the ehxaust denser and spinning the turbo. Basically, you want to add load. Brake boosting will also do this.

Yea.. brake boosting works good also.
Wanna make it really cool lol. You might need a really good wastegate. Try 100percent gain on the boost controller. Thats makes a Major difference. lol. I think its fun. Tire spinning heaven. Its more for showing off i guess.

no you dont. because u want to get an sti and build it lol. obivisouly u really dont have a fast lude. im tryin to be in pro street. i could tell u dont have that much dedication to your car. you dotn even wanna know wat im doin just to build my car sir.

Well.. All i gotta say is that it will help. Not a dramatic difference. But it will. If you got one. Give it a try. What do you have to lose other then time. But i would still put some kinda of piping. ( If you can!! On the intake of the turbo. ) Trust me. It really helps because it gets rid of the turbulence of the flowing air. With out it. Air comes from all crazy directions that actually cause you to lose low end power and spool. Same for the exhaust.

Yes ,.. om pump gas. I dont use race to i go over 17psi. chipped P28 using hondata s300. And yes. It can 2 step. Just like Ciara ok.
Please. Leave me alone. I am through with you 95h22a1turbo.

why dont you read and research about it your damn self since you seem to know everything.
all a two step does it allow you to build boost while at a standstill. Simple concept.
378 is not out of the reach of pump gas. Different turbos make different power and different PSI's. 16psi could equal 300 or 600 hp depending on the turbo and motor setup.
Stop being a smartass and actually do some research because obviously you dont want to listen to us and we dont want to help and ungrateful prick.
