I've been waiting for a nice day to get this done, and today I finally did. I followed the guide on absoluteprelude.com for how to get the bumper off. Here's some shots of everything

This is a shot of one of the two spots where it doesn't bolt up. Didn't bolt up on either side, but is still in just fine

Gaps on the edges aren't too bad

Overall these are fairly good pieces. They look good, use the same bulbs as your factory USDM headlights, and are just a bit cheaper than the true JDM's. However, there is a small amount of "custom fitting" that must be done to get these into place. If you want an easy plug and play, go with the true JDM headlights, but if you just want something cheap that looks good, these are for you

*also* Each one is about 2lbs lighter than the USDM headlights

god i LOVEE those new ones with the orange corners!!

but i've heard from other people that they fit absolutely perfectly, all bolts lined up and everything. you sure you couldn't get the driver side to fit better, cuz the gap looks a lil large

i think they look BALLINNN tho with your orange bumpers!!

Sweet. I like the amber corners as well.
How long did it take you to do everything?

can't go wrong with the amber coners with those ebay ones. Could be better with the closed gap, but overall I'd say good bang for th buck:wink: for the budget minded. Nice job

There's no chance I could have gotten all 5 bolts on each side (only 3 on each right now), but I blame the gap on the driver side to the fact the car has had previous damage there by a previous owner

How long did it take to get the bumper off, the lights on and aimed, and the bumper back on?

Having never taken the bumper off, I had to come inside and refer to the guide a few times to make sure I was getting everything. That took about 25 minutes. Installing the lights was about 10 each side, and getting the bumper back on was about 15 minutes. Factor in a little time for breaks. Also, I had to wait till nightfall to aim them. They aim really easily. There's a screw for sideways movement, and a screw for vertical movement for each bulb

I just picked up those same headlights with the black bumper markers as well. So it you found it pretty easy? That's good to know. Thanks.
