razo is a brand from carmate, targeting things like shift knobs, pedals, bulbs, wiper arms, little things. i'd say the only thing close to tuning that they have is a kit for the 350z.

E-ram Supercharger:

Ok.. from what i have seen. Its Does help intake flow. Still I think its a ricer thing. BUT!! As seen in person. A Galant had 2of them on his car and dyno shows that he gained 12hp. Making 3.1psi of BOOST!!. Thats kinda funny. Still, I laugh everytime i see it. And i would not recommand it to anybody. Thats jsut me. BUT.. i have to see. I have been proven that it actually works in some form of way.

Good Boost Out Of A Supercharger.
I have supercharged a h22a moter beforfe in a prelude. It was tunning about 8psi of boost. It really made up for that lack of power a prelude has in first gear when not in Vtec. It really gets the car moving right away.

i ahve never been a fan of superchargers. i understadn the pros and cons of a supercharger, but from what i see they work horrible with preludes, overheating problems and the amount of horsepower u get from what u put into it doesnt make sense. looking at the website, up to a 15 hp gain and it took 2 to make 12 hp on a galant ( kinda of a weird or overkill idea for the design of the "supercharger" ). i think a well designed cai would give the extra horsepower that this thing would give u anyway. it looks like it just directs the flow of the air.

Thats basicly what it does.. Like i said. I wouldnt recommand it.

As for as a real supercharger. I we didnt have any over heating problems at all. To tell ya the truth. it should stay cooler then the turbo cars. I dont own the car though. But He still drives the car everyday and he like it. I mean.. its not very fast. But . it still gets the car moving.

you will only get hp at low rpm though because the engine would quickly out spin that little fan

oaky heres another one for you guys. i was looking at cold air intakes on ebay and i saw one that had a a air by-pass valve after the air filter, so whats the deal with those it was claiming to let the engine breath better at wide open throttle!!! has eanyone ever heard of this ste up before???:hmmmm2:

hotrod

air bypass valve yes. helping the engine breathe better, no. they're used to help prevent hydro-lock. the idea is when the filter is submerged in water, the intake will draw air from the bypass valve, rather than from the filter end.
