Rpm Tach Gone Crazy

i got a
93 lude SI VTEC 2.2L
full msd setup


when driving and im close to 5k rpm the tech starts to jump all crazy and u feel the car starts to hesertate.i check the oil, there is no CEL...it just started to do this a few day ago.this is 1 problem.

2nd
when the car starts up it makes a "errrr" sound for like 3sec.
also when i put it in 1st gear and tap the gas you hear it and feel it in the gas pedal for a split sec.

That sounds like you have mistiming...

check your spark plugs, wires, cap and rotor(for crust buildup).
Then, it could be your distributor. :yo:

If its the MSD setup you have, you most likely have a Blaster coil? 6a box? recheck those connections.

i trying to find some1 to check the timing

i check to connections for the set up.ie, msd6al, blaster coil....
there should be any problems if im not using a chip to set the rev limiter?

im going to check the cap and cap rotor 2nite.
