that question is WAYYYYY too vague.
how much power do you wanna make?
where in the powerband do you wanna make it?
do you want 0 turbo lag with not alotta power up top?
or would you not mind a bit of lag in order to make more power??
but i'm gonna support rory and say t3/t4 57 trim too, cuz thats what i got
Well either way. His more is not built. So i would no recommand any more then 8psi. Sorry Guys ... But the prelude h22a more, The pistons rings. ( Not the pistons. THE RINGS ) are weak. I say get a t3-t4. 57 trim. You will have very little lag. You will start spooling around 2800rpm. and should be able to make over 275 to the wheels. If you want more power. You should invest in aftermarket low compression pistons and rings.

u could boost 12-14psi safe with good tuning. well not all h22's are good but if u take good care of the motor and w/ fine tuning and depend on how u drive.. u could last a yr or more. just get a t3/to4b or t3/to4e.
ps- i was beating the **** out of my car when it was stock motor :-) 12psi and 14to 15psi when i was racing and sometimes boost****e but b4 i got the hondata

Bro 10psi of boost is pushing it on a stock bottom end h22. The Rings man... The rings.. The stock block is only good for 275whp. ofcourse there are a few outliars but the fact still remains that the block can only handle 275whp. thats about 10psi on a tipical t3/t4 turbo. I see your point but 14psi is too high imo.
P.S. where the hell you been? lol

your not looking for power when it comes to pistons when speaking of a turbo build. your going be more concerned with a setup that will be more responsive. Compression = responsive. JE, CP, Mahle, Wiseco are all good. Now you just have to figure out how responsive you want your car to be?
It's hard to explain but it seems you have a lot of research to do...

x2.
idk if its frowned upon suggesting to go to another forum to search, but honda-tech has an ASSSSS-LOADDDDD of insanely information regarding anything you could ever fathom.
mostly every question you could ever have about your car has been covered there, as opposed to this forum which is rather new and not a lot of info.
go over to H-T and just research the sh*t out of the subject

yea the rings, but my rings look like fresh new when i took it out and the stock sleeves were fine.. im not saying any h22 can do that i guess mine did u know and took care of it... always check my boost and ****e lol u could have more than 275whp... 275 is like around 7-8psi good tune u know... but if u want serious power w/o sleeving the block, get the gold series mahle pistons and some eagle rods.
ps- i been here lol man i gotta get my car done :-) NOPI here i come!!! lol
