Lude down!!!

my casper adventure:frown:

ok well this past weekend i went to casper to see my folks....the trip out was rather relaxing...i got a few funny pics and a somewhat cool pic of my car on casper mountain at 7,000+ feet above sea level etc etc.... well it was great seeing my parents and i headed back on saturday and about 30 miles out from casper i heard some really odd road noice....i thought i had a flat tire so i pulled over and checked out my tires...they were all good still....so i got back on the road and i heard it some more...so i thought it was the roads being rough, and anyone that has driven in wyoming knows roads suck.... but anyways the noise gets worse and then i hear like a pop and look to my left and see my tire was passing me....it was all in slow motion and i see it go thru the median and pop up in the air on the other side...i literally saw the lugs flying as well lol, but then i felt the car drop to the ground and i stayed calm and controlled the car to the side of the road....so ya my tire falling off at 75mph sucked ass....my rotor is messed up to say the least... i need a new front fender as well from when the car dropped it pushed my fender upword.... well i got out of the car and it ruined it even more but there was nothing i could do anyways.... but some rancher guy stoped and helped me get my car road worthy again and by then i was 10 miles out from douglas (still middle of no where) i managed to get some lug nuts and some tools so i pulled off my pads because i didnt know if i bent the hell out of my rotor or not...i didnt wanna risk rubbing and friction equals disaster.... i ended up driving the last 230 miles with no brakes on my car lol, on top of all that i got pulled over from the state trooper, and let me off with a warning since my windshield was cracked...nice guy he was... i called midas when i was half an hour out and they told me they were booked but due to my issue they cleared the schedual...the guys there hooked me up and fixed my car for only $16 and thats odd cus that dont even cover there labor :lol: so ya here is a few pics of the weekend and this is my rant...lol

eh its no biggie...life goes on and the lude will be fixed after Prelude23 hooks me up with the right connections lol.....hell once i get set in my new pad ill pull the car apart and try out my coils and pound out my fender....(good thing i know body work lol)

dang... sorry to hear that... i was worried this was gonna happen to me the other night cuz my lugnuts kept coming loose but i got home after tightening them twice on the way

ya to think i shoulda checked my lugs before i left...now honestly who would have thought something bad like this would happen?? it was just my day i guess lol

is always a sad day when u hear about a Lude getting busted, although i do have to laugh at the visual of the wheel bouncing past and flying through the median into the air that is classic!

sucks that happened man but i dont want it to happen to me so im on my way outside to turn on the compressor and hook up the impact gun so i can tighten mine!!
