Well i think some of you know my h23 that i was planning on turbo'ing isn't happening. My h23 just fell apart on me past 2 weeks!
Anyway tomorrow im getting an h22 swap (only engine, no tranny because im dying to do some suspension on this car!)...along with some other things like a new header, 9 pound flywheel and strut and sway bars and lowering her as well. I want to go 2 inches but im scared about the clearance for my n1 exhaust system, so we shall see. Wish me luck guys, i'll post some before and after pics later on!

If anyone of you need parts from my h23 engine (parts will be out in long island though), or want to buy over my DC sports header let me know.

late!

nah man, i wish i did because of the distance and team...but these guys im taking it to are getting the engine for me and giving me a good price plus a lot of shops, engine places, shops online are selling it with a tranny so i didn't have a choice and even then i would need to pay for shipping.. also its less of a hasle to get the parts i need for my suspension and again there prices are fairly low so i can just get what i need right there

i wanted to go to that shop though, i feel bad not going there since i feel like that shop has a relation to the team but im low on funds and time, i need this car fixed asap

its kool man i didnt know the car wasnt running. just mae sure they have a good reputation for doing swaps especially with h series engines.
thats why i suggested that one to you they have a good rep on street and track. as long as your car runs good man goodluck on it and post up some pics when you get a chance.

g/l mang. mine is a lil more than 2 inches, and i only really scrape up my resonator (WS2's are notorious for hanging too low) on huuugeee speed bumps and ****. but the can is fine

so the car is in the shop right now should be getting it back by valentines day ;) so romantic isn't it?

anyway im going with eibach springs (2 to 2.25) and the tokico blue shocks. I had tokico blue shocks on my old civic (yes i was civic owner, bash me later) and i loved the stiffness on it. i decided to forget the sway bars and go with strut bars instead to save some money.
also i need to put a header on the new engine, anyone know some good headers for h22a?

if anyone need h23a1 parts let me know!
i'll post up pics as soon as i get her back!

Wow, 2.25 inch drop?!

Thank god you're in LI, not Queens or the rest of the city.
I regret dropping my Lude, even at a 1.8 sport drop

best of luck with the swap, it'll be a beast when you get it back.

i changed the timing belts but not the water pump. i also kept my stock clutch even though i changed my flywheel because i recently changed it fall of last year. the car is sitting and riding very nicely and the handling has def improved but i didn't get to fully test out the handling yet, wait till the roads get a bit dry.
