Prelude Wiring harness

Does anyone know if your ECU plugs were cut out of your car if there's just a harness from the ecu plugs to where ever that you can easily take out and replace or do you need to buy this whole new Prelude harness that this guy below will sell me? I bought prelude obd 1 plugs with wiring to be soldered into the harness on my car and the guy working on it said its going to be tough since alot of the wiring colors are the same color and he doesnt want to solder the wrong wires together. He said it would be easier if he could just replace the ecu harness if there is a seperate harness. So is the Ecu wiring a seperate harness or is it connected to the whole car harness. IF it's seperate where does it run to? thank you

Incase any of you are wondering about this too I found out the ECU harness unplugs from the whole harness. That was a relief haha. Here's what it looks like taken apart. It looks like some will go under the dash and some will run thro the right side of the firewall and connect in the bay
