7 cans of flatblack engine paint (so it would not fade after a long time) and took a little over 6 hours.... I stripped everything off the car and most of the time was to prep the car... The 7 cans were just the first coat.

Mods...

AEM <~ True AEM (not the knock off) cold air
2.25 catback with Greddy Evo 2 exhaust

Ported 2.1L (B21A1) intake manifold
No AC
No powersteering
2nd gen Intergra lip

No carpet in trunk and no back seat (because I race BMX and I put the bike back there)

Clean Lude. I seen it at the last varsity meet a couple of weeks ago, when we were out there in the rain. That primer looks great on it.

I always loved your rims David.
SIK.

Does the Toofast TB actually feel nice on a b21a1 intake manifold?

Who would've believed that flat black would look so cool on a 3G? I like it mate, I really do.

1. I have not seen a clean spray job so I wanted to try to see if I could do it.

2. The hood, top, and trunk lid were oxidizing and I tried everything that I could to stop it but couldn't

3. I PSed it and it looked really good so I decided to do it. I did the hood first because I had a CF hood on there from ConMetal (he is selling his Lude) and tapped someone 4 days later and had to put my old hood back on. I decided that was the best time to try it and figured if that looked good then I should do the whole car.

4. I wanted to go for the J Spec look

5. I also thought that it looked really good with the wheels on my Lude. I got those wheels in 04 on my first Lude (blue) and this is my 3rd Lude.

Thanks for the comments guys... I know one things though... I get messed with more with it flatblack like this than I did before. People want to see what it is all about.

For the guy with the question about the 60mm TB.... I am not sure if it made a diff. with this TB on there because I am the type of person that tries to not think that it was a "huge gain" and think it is just my mind feeling like it is so I am not sure. I don't like to think that it is the fastest thing out because a smiple little mod like that. I did have many problems with the TB though like idle and the TPS when I put it on. The idle stop screw was my main problem because for a long time I was checking for other problems like if the butterfly was 2 small and letting 2 much air in and that was causing the surging idle. It was really because the idle stop screw feel out and the butterfly was at a angle. I figured it out when I put a flash light in front of it to see if the space was even all the way around the butterfly and noticed it.

Don't believe David that the 17s look like 16s, to me in person they look like 18s. but I haven't seen them on this car yet.

David the whip looks sexy. I love the color a lot.
