OK, so my car is up on jack stands as of this moment and I am attempting to install my header and exhaust but not a single one of the bolts will budge. I've used PB blaster on all of them and still nothing. Any ideas?

Are you trying to remove the nuts to get the old header off? Try putting a little heat on each of the nuts with a propane torch, just be careful because you sprayed that area with PB (flammable) You want to heat up just the nuts so they'll expand a little. Hope this helps.

pb blaster or penentrating oil is the right idea... but i couldnt seem to break mine loose by hand.. i ended up having to use the air gun..

****. I don't have a blow torch or an air gun and the PB Blaster isn't doing jack ****. I'll try to pick an air gun up tomorrow.

^A propane torch is cheaper than an air gun. Have you tried using a breaker bar yet?

Yeah, breaker bar doesn't work either. :frown:

Heat + breaker bar FTW!

Might not have enough room for an air gun *shruggs*

Hmm, well this is rediculous. I don't have any of the equipment I need for this and I have an autocross tomorrow. I'm just gonna take it to a shop on Monday.

No I didn't get the header off and I'm probably going to wait until summer when I have more money to buy better tools and get a high flow cat.

To get that rusted bolt(s) off, you're gonna have to clean the bolts and rent an impact gun and blast them off with an extension...
That's the only way as i've done a few downpipe removals.

PB Blaster is great, but it wont take off the bolt.

good luck man.

I had to use an impact, PB is great, but that is like bringing a knife to a gun fight with those bolts. Good Luck bro.
