If you boost, its a waste of time, energy, and effort to put a H22 head. Once you start getting up in the power from the boost, VTEC is virtually useless. Plus, as you may know, its extremely hard to get that frankenstein tuned to be reliable. If you already have the H23, spend the money building the internals instead of getting a new head. Sleeve the block, forgedlow comp pistons and rods, bigger cams, and a good tuning are the basics for a good, dependable, turbo set-up.

so if i were to do all this to an h23 would it be more power than if i were to build my frankenstein?

dont know which would be more powerful, but like E said, the money that you waste on the frankenstein could be put towards a bangin turbo setup, plus the h23vtec's aren't too reliable, and turbo'ing a vtec motor is a lil overkill too

i dunno but the majoirity of hybrids i have even seen have always failed after time some way or another. Sounds like you need to decide the road you want to go down do you want boost or vtec? you can always make more power going boost for usually less money than you can NA.

Well get down to it, H22 is the favorite for N/A becuase of the VTEC, and H23 is better for boost because of the longer gears and lower compression. So it's up to you. But frankensteins are never very dependable over time, even when done correctly.

i doubt ir would fit, but there would be a lack of torque from the k series anyway... stick with the H

well the only reason i say that is because the k23 has 240 hp and 260 lb ft of torque so i doubt it'll lack in torque but y wouldn't it fit it's a 2.3 like my h23

maybe i was thinking of a k20? you would have to get mounts for it, if they are even available for our cars? but you would probably have to have a wire kit and switch it to obdII... there would be a lot of work im sure... do it, be the first (that ive heard of)
