Almost lost the Lude tonight

So there's a BIG thunderstorm coming in, all my friends are at prom (I didn't feel like wasting my money although I was invited), and there's nobody I know hanging out up town so I start to ease home. I'm almost home, on the road where my friend Ryan (in the S-10) died, going about 45 and I see a buck out in the field to my left. Naturally, I slow down. About 30 yards in front of me, I see a doe walking calmly across the road so I figure there's more coming. I'm going about 5 mph or less and I glace to my right and see 2 lights coming right for me. Before I have any time to even react, they disappear. As I look to my left, I see the rear end of a deer. That thing jumped the Lude! I sat there for a second in amazement then started to accelerate again. That was the most bizzare thing... It woulda been ugly, for the car, deer, and possibly me if I hadn't seen that buck in the field and slowed down. It's just one of those times when you know someone is looking out for you. :)

So does the Lude get the hunting license or you? And how do you say "Watch for passing ludes" in deer-ish? I'm glad you were spared the guilt and the deer jerky.

Naw... my dad's old Dakota got the hunting licence. From 1996-2002, he hit 7 deer, or they hit him in the side,a nd ran over 1 wild hog. Who needs a gun when you got a truck?He also hit a deer with my accord, which is why the aftermarket hood is spray painted black instead of the stock gray color. From a distance it looks like a cf hood so I'm not too angry about it, lol.
