my street tune weilds 250whp and idles at 1200rpm. so smooth. The lobes on my cams are just slightly larger than the crower stage 3. custom of course.

CROWER all the way.

Well I'm not going to say Crower is best, simply because I don't know, haha. Skunk2 from what I've heard/read is more benificial on your top end side while JUN helps out in the mid-range.
Someone else fill in where Crower helps most.

Crower is known for good midrange power; which is useful for most prelude drivers. it gives it a substancial amount of beef under the power curve. For some reason however skunk2's dyno higher than crower and jun cams. But crower is a little cheaper and does what it's suppose to do.

Good thread guys.

well i say, no to those cams if you are a budget. just get a jdm cams w/ hondata. that would be prolly best way to get your power out of and cheapest. plus w/ s/c gain 75 to 90 horsepower increase. oh, and it's actually reliable

Thanks for the tip, I will look into it.

I am on a budget, but i figure i might as well get the good stuff since i plan on keepin the car.

Rocket Motorsports
Skunk2 Pro series

and if you car idles bad on skunk cams, blame the tuner. The skunk2 cams tend to need more timing in the idle resolution.

If idle is your concern, I know the JUN cams retain a stock idle. Seems everywhere I've looked though, Crower and JUN are the top two choices. You can't lose with either. Crower is probably cheaper than the JUN though.

h22 crower stages are also pretty mild compared to other cam companies.
