You can read all the reviews and OF COURSE there's the price difference.
The reason that I went with the AEM stand-alone is because there is more qualified AEM tuners w/DYNOs than Hondata. (that, and if i destroy my car, i can but the ecu in a different ride) And since I yearn for more HP, they say that the AEM is easier.
I was really suprised to find that there weren't that many qualified Hondata Chip tuners. Or are there more than what I realized?
Your thoughts.

There a lot of people who prefer Hondata over AEM.
I am one of them.
Then they are a lot of people who dislike Hondata and prefer AEM EMS.
Both are equally good and get you what YOU need from them.
I would say there are a LOT of chip tuners out there.
Hell, i know of 3 people who chip ECU's and use Crome, Megasquirt & Hondata.
:yo:
You know that saying, "keep looking and you'll find something?" ---well, i just made that up.

yes, aem ems have been around longer than hondata. plus aem-ems can do alots of things than other piggy back or e manage system. But if you have a honda, in my opinion that is hondata s300 is lot cheaper and doing almost same as aem ems. also aem ems have more advantage because of lots of tuners out there for aem and for hondata s300 not s100 or 200, its really great emanage system in a budget also great tuning for especially honda boosted/N/A. remember s300 came out w/ anti lag control, gear comp, you could tune it on just ur labtop :-) and when u have check engine light on it will tell what code it is and the problem is on your car :p

I said "lol j/p man". is it the intercooler or the piping that won't fit under the stocker?

pipin is kinda messed up and no intercooler would not fit on a stock bumper... it will just stick out and look uglier than ever lol

maybe if you got a spare stock bumper from the junkyard and tried modifying it yourself, you could come up with something custom and niiiiiiiiiiiice. body work isn't that hard.

ive heard that aem is alot harderto work with, but in the end if you get a good tune down its more then worth the trouble,
but id prob just go with hondata
like was mentioned before, half the price and itll do a good job, specially since my car would be street driven every day so i wouldnt need anything too hardcore, plus theres a pro hondata tuner near me that tunes in his spare time:wink:
