I have an '94 H23A1 and want to put a turbo-kit on it.

There's the Turbonetics FMAX or the Greddy Kit.

The FMAX will fit no problem. But the Greddy Kit is for a 97+.

I heard that the Greddy kit could be retro-fitted for the '94.

Is this possible? And how bad are the alterations to the kit to make this work?

I'm certain the piping would be different. not sure what else.

what yr do u have the 4th gen? if u do u have to make sure the manifold and the wastegate dump tube is not right by the alternator... otherwise u'll just fried the alternator ..that happend to me cple times lol so i had to redo my whole manifold

Good kit for daily drivers, makes 290 on a rsx type S

very sexy :)

welll doesn't this sound familiar:rolleyes:

my turbo kit thats arriving...... TODAYYYYYYY just so happened to be for a 5th gen, that i'll be modifying to fit my H23

a different manifold is blatanly obvious.... any MAYBE different piping.

other than that... everything else "SHOULD" bolt right up (famous last words  )

be sure to post how the progression is going, or PM me if you have any issues, cause i'm getting my Greddy t-bo kit in a few months and i'm saving some ca$h for unexpected nessessities. know what i mean. then you can i can compare dyno sheets.

your kit's a Greddy?

nah, it was advertised as a turbonetics, but i'm thinking its an SSAC turbo, which i'll just get rebuilt w/ garrett internals anyway, since i'm a lil weary about used turbo's

so its prolly just a turbonetics manifold... which i'll be replacing anyways.... so overall it'll just be a custom kit
