View Full Version : Neuspeed Rear Sway Bar

Finally got around to installing it. Install was very simple. If you can tighten nuts and bolts, you can do this. IMO, it could have been a little bit cheaper. Handling... I don't know if it's just a mental thing or what, but I think I'm able to take the corners a little quicker now. Supposedly, you lose rear traction with a rear sway bar... a "side effect" of the quicker front. The car is definitely more solid... like when I go over the railroad tracks, I hear and feel a solid bump versus before I heard and felt a series of rattles if you will.

So if you lose traction, why would you get one?...

look at the loss of traction as a double edged sword. the rear sway bar reduces traction in the rear, but it also means the front will come around quicker. the quicker your front comes around, the earlier you can punch the accelerator.

hmm... okay now i see where i was misleading in my original post. let me edit that bit.

Now that you've revised it, it's much more like what I was thinking it was supposed to do. How much did it cost you?

do you have any other strut/sway bars?

or only rear sway?

none other yet. i'm putting in the front strut tower bar next.
