Depends on how bad you need them. Where I live, they're very useful in the summer. Since I don't have them, I have to leave my roof popped otherwise my thermometor will say its 145 degrees inside.

It's not so much the look, our cars look fine without them.

I'm seeing the usefullness in them, like being able to crack your window when it's raining.

They work miracles. Are there any made that aren't JDM? I know they make them for most other vehicles from the 90s and up.

Yeah you can go to autozone and order either ones made by vent visor or g.t. syling.

you would be better off going with the JDM, because the aftermarket ones usually reqiure adhesive of some sort. The JDMs' look like they use mounting brackets.

you should get oem/JDM, that way everthing will line up, etc.

im getting some for the spring =)

The adhesive ones are fine as long as you throughly clean where you are sticking them. We've had them on 5 of our vehicles since 93 and they all still stick perfect.

UPDATE!!! IF anyone is looking for jdm visors. Keep your eyes peeled on jdmland.com, ebay, and passwordjdm.com. All three sites get them in. I jus tbought one of the last 2 sets that jdmland had, but they said they will get more.

I have the JDM Visors and I love them. They work great in a light ran with the windows cracked. But one day I went to get my hair cut, and left my windows slightly cracked...and it started absolutely pouring. And the water definitely was flowing through a small space between the visor and the window and got my door panels soaked on both sides. But other than that, theyre great. Expensive, but awesome! Get 'em Edge!

He started this thread september '06...I'm pretty sure he hasn't got them on. Personally I love them. Form and function in one, not something you get often.

I don't mean to be negative...they are AWESOME for the rain or smoking J's BUT! its my opinion that they ruin the look of our sexy azz cars. I could honestly use a set of them but I refuse for now based on the ugly, cheezmo look they provide. Sorry for the negativity but you wanted opinions, CHEERS PreludeZone.com ROCKS!!!

I think they are pretty good, like was mentioned earlier. SUnny and rainy days, they work wonders. But I have noticed another thing....
Slap JDM on something and it is the hottest item. For example....Has anyone seen the JDM PB&J Sandwich.....that is off the hook. THey put the Peanut Butter on the bottom.

I mean come on people, JDM is soooo played out, IMHO. You can goto the Honda dealer and get the same exact thing. So what if it does not have the Japanese lettering on it.

Short Rant....But I am so sick of Ebay JDM gimmicks. Unless you are paying the shipping from Japan, keep that JDM hype to yourself.

Later !!!

They aint everybody's cup of tea. I love mine, they look very subtle next to my tinted glass, and they're functional. You don't like them, that's fine. Like you said, opinions were requested.

JMD PBJ has nothing on the JDM Ham and Cheese Toastie that I just ate!
