There's one for sale that hasn't sold in forever around where I live and I was contemplating trading mine in (or selling privately) and purchasing this one. I'd be financing it and the monthly payments would be 180ish. I'm a little hesitant to buy an SH cause of aftermarket problems. It has 60k miles, the price is good, its completely stock and In absolute mint condition. Interior, engine, exterior are all flawless. I think I might get it, Instead of dropping the money to change my interior on my 4g and the engine on it.

What do you guys think are the pro's and cons of the 4g vs 5g.
I really like my 4g I'm just afraid its getting too old and such.

discuss!!!

I say go for it. You'll always feel like you're driving a new car because there's not another generation after it to make it look or feel dated. The miles seem fairly low, it's clean, spotless and you can get for 180/month, so what's stopping you?

I think aftermarket support is just as equal as a base model. What do plan on doing? I've seen a JRSC sh before just to give you an example. I can't think of anything that would prevent you from doing basic mods. Their suspension geometry is a little different but there is support out there. The SH's are nice. I looked at a couple before I got my '98 base. Both were '01 satin silver, just plain georgeous, but a little out of my budget. Anway, get service records first and inspect it over really well. Don't forget the difference in insurance cost, which will be more than your '92. Good luck.

go for it... they payments seems low for 180ish and it only has 60k on it. Besides... it seems you've already gotten your might made up about getting it.

stock for stock the 4g is faster but I think I'd take ATTS over my 4th gen anyday ;)

stock for stock my h23a can't be faster than a h22.

Plus theres just something in my mind saying, carbon fiber hood, trunk and front lip + oem sides and rears that screams sex.

I plan basic bolt ons and then finally a supercharger. I just got my short shifter and my jdm amber foglights though :( lets see if that sways my mind. i'm gonna go test drive the 5g today or tommorow.

I would say go for it. Type SH basically just makes it harder to get your hands in the engine bay. You can still modify it, there is just more stuff you have to maneuver around. The only REAL problem you will have is modifing your suspension and even then it will just be harder than a Base model. But on the plus side you can change your oil filter from the top

taylor what color is yours? I think the one i want is the same color as yours, glossy paint too :) its red just not sure of what red, its very bright and vivid.

I'm just not sure If i can afford it thats all, its about 200$ + my 50$ cell phone bill. I only make about 750-800$ a month while in school. I do have 2k saved up as well as several small bits of income that will be coming in before december, probably about 700$ worth on top of paychecks.

keep listing things good and bad about 5g vs my current 4g.

Honda paint codes (http://hondaswap.com/body-exterior-interior-cosmetics/honda-paint-codes-61123/) can be found here.

My colour only came on 1997-1998's. It is called San Marino Red (R94).

There is a better site for paint colours. I just can't remember it right now. I think it was on PreludeOnline. Jesse has the link.
