I have a hookup for the bb6 digital climate control, let me know if you have the $300+ and I'll make a call.
The JDM labels have all the info in kanji (sp)..
I'll post some times when I get used to driving her, I keep her parked mostly.

I have to wait until my 20th first to get the car. Then I want to do the carbon fiber panels and cluster. Then possibly the climate control or some kind other kind of jdm treatment(foglights, folding mirrors, interior pieces like yours *cept ashtray). Did you keep your guages stock?

the car wont pass inspection because it's not obdII and can't run off the stock ecu. its been sitting for a year plus so things are starting to leak and whatnot. hoses, gaskets, seals. She needs quite a bit of work. I'm working on it. I'm gonna buy hondata and see if we can't get her to pass inspection with the stock ecu without blowing the motor.
p.s. I just placed an order for leather to replace the stock fabric on my seats. much much more to come.
BadMofo
02-26-2008, 12:00 PM
In DE, do they do the OBD-II emissions test? Where they hook it straight up to an OBD-II computer? Is that why you are failing?
If so, that sucks bro... in Jersey they just stick the emissions sniffer into your exhaust, regardless of OBD. So as long as you have a good tune, you can pass emissions...
Have you tried taking it to a privatized inspection station? Do they have those in DE? Sometimes you can slip them a couple bucks and they'll slap a sticker on there.
ogsmakdade
02-26-2008, 12:08 PM
Delaware has state run department of motor vehicle. cars 96 or newer have to pass an obdII test wehre they plug directly to the cars ecu.
We don't have privatized inspection stations. I've tried even paying people that work for the state DOMV, which is a federal offense.
I could get her inspected in MD or NJ, but then I'll have insurance issues. I'm going to try a different engine management and see what happens.
In a way, the robbery was kind of a blessing. I have now some means to try and remedy this problem.

Ah that blows... Yeah Jersey's is state run as well... but we also have privatized inspection stations that charge to run inspection... they are more willing to slap a sticker on because you're already paying them anyway so it's not like a complete bribe lol. But as far as NJ's state-run inspection stations go... yeah they don't take kindly to bribes lol.
PA's is completely privatized... you have to pay (I think it's like 50 bucks) to get inspected each and every time.

Damn Ogs, you're goin all out! Can't wait to see the transformation. Where did you get the leather?
ogsmakdade
03-12-2008, 09:12 PM
the leather came from china. I paid less than $400. It's thick and the quality is pretty damn nice. double stitching. they'll do any number of combos for color or texture of leather and color of stitching for no extra charge.
It will be a long time before she's done and legal, but I'm getting some parts I wanted for a while now.
p.s. I started a reupholstering thread in the interior section. possibly to be transformed into a DIY.

I swear you need to be kicked in the junk.
The JDM front bumper is gettin the license plate screw holes filled and that lip above them smoothed out flat. The fenders, bumper, and kip kit will all be painted off the car, installed and then the whole car is gettin painted. stock color of course.

then insurance company gave me $3600 for the robbery. I am not gettin racing seats again so I decided to get some other things I wanted. I already replaced all the stolen items w/ money from side work service calls. So she just let me do what I wanted to.

why do you ask? euro clear lights were not made by honda so you kno where they came from. they have been on the car for 2 years and haven't fogged, leaked, or fadded. I'd say they were worth every bit of 15 bucks each lol.
