Hello,
Well, I did it myself. WOW, what a job. After my H23a1 broke her timing belt and destoried the valves, I had the head and valves repaired, I used new gaskets, put everything back together and fired it up. Shes alive, but running like crap. What could I have done wrong?

Explain "running like crap" that does us no good.

Well, It idles high, then low then rough, then high again. The right side of the engine acts like it is going to jump out of the car when idleing low, but seems ok when reved up.

prolly didn't line it up correctly. take the crank pulley and valve cover off and make sure both the cams and crank are @ TDC.

happens more often than you'd think the first time you do a t-belt job, myself included.

did you get the head shaved or at least checked to make sure it was not warped
