Need Rims

I am looking for a set of rims. I want something that will give me better performance than the stock aluminum ones and also look sharp. If you have any websites or anything where i can get some please let me know. Or if you have any you are willing to get rid of. Thanks.

I have some 17" Bronze Adr's 3 are in decent to great condition and one i would rate a 5/10.They are 150 each plus shipping and they have around 30% tread on them left. I only have 2 picture of of the rims on the car without showing the damaged one but its not the same damage as you will be use to seeing its weird from previous owner pics will be taken if interested or im interested on an offer you make.

If you want rims to increase your performance, you'll have to go forged. Look at companies like Rays, Enkei, Buddy Club, Work etc. All offer lightweight rims.
NOTE: These won't be cheap. Anything that is won't be light. Anything that is cheap and light isn't worth your life.

I could go on for days. Rims are so plentiful. You have so many choices.

From what I read on the other thread gram lights are good, I know OZ racing rims are extremely light and made pretty durable. I have an OEM style on my car (not the most beautiful, but I bought it that way, and the rims are extremely expensive)

Its all personal preference, budget, and what exactly you're looking for out of your rims.

I recommend going with 16's, its the best performance size, and you get a better ride quality than if you were to put 17's on your car.

I don't like tirerack.com because they dont give you the weight. I also realize that you get what you pay for. I like to think of it this way. Cheap, light, Durable... Choose two. Im just asking around to see if i can get any deals.

and again your right on you get what you pay for. I have never bought any rims from tirerack, but I know they have the cheapest tires around, and all the good brand names cheap(er).

I'm sure they cant be too bad with rims. they do have some good brand names, and decent prices.

and I've never heard anything good or bad about TSW.

Oh god...Not sure exactly. I would bet $1200 AT LEAST. That's e-bay price too I think lol. But yeah there isn't **** around here for preludes. I've seen a nice black 5th gen a few times in Davenport where I work. That's about it. You got anyone else out that way or is it just you and me?

I dont know of anyone who does stuff to their cars but the only 5th gen I have ever seen around here is right down the street from me. Its a tits green Si. I have seen maybe three 4th gens. And only one had some **** done to it like exhaust and crap rims. Im planning a trip to Cordova soon to see what my car runs before I do anything to it.

I live about 45 minutes south of Cordova (duh you prolly already know this). Last time my car was at battle of the high schools there (2 years ago I believe) it ran 15.4 bone stock. The driver sucked too, his r/t on the slips is like .6+ secs every time lol. But I could probably break 14's now I would imagine. Gotta get it done first then we'll find out. :p Too bad you're like 3 hours away or I could finally have a Lude buddy lol

I have a '96 BB1 and it ran 15.6 or 15.4 or something like that when it was stock at Cordova. It's got CAI, Megan Header, noname Test Pipe and a Tanabe Medallion exhaust on it. This is gonna sound ignorant and someone will probably flame me but it's whatever. I raced a kid that claimed his car ran like 14.97 and he had a time slip and everything, we raced a few times from a stop up until about 100 mph and I got him every time by about a car, so I'm assuming I can run sub-15 now. Yeah it's stupid but I haven't had time to get to the track yet lol

Just because you beat a car that has run a 14.97 doesn't make your car a sub-15 car. A slight change in weather is usually all that's needed to make a 15.1 car run a 14.9; yet for some reason the 14.9 gets more attention. I'd much rather my car run 15.1 every time than run 14.9 once.

lol. nice dude. im new to the lude scene and have no idea what your car is. what do you think mine will run stock? I beat a subaru svx that runs 16.2 stock and he ran a 15.9 at cordova this spring. i got like three lengths on him. (this was on a track)
