type sh tranny question

i need a new transmission for my 5th gen prelude base and i was wondering if a type sh transmission would work and b to my benefit?

From what I have read and seen on the forums I don't think that tranny will marry up to the base motor. I could be wrong though.

You may what to find a jdm LSD tranny. I know I am going to start looking for one. I bet that will be the first thing that fails once I go forced induction.

The extra time, effort and dollars required to bolt up an SH trans to the base model car just isn't worth it. For the same money you could buy an M2B4, (JDM LSD trans) and have plenty of change.
