So I sea Fomaed my car last night and it had better throttle response and all that stuff but I took it for a ride and it's fine it first gear but when you hit second it'll only reach about 3grand then it will pretty much quit revving? if you let off the gas a little bit it will rev a little more but not much? you can't even make it up a little noll unless your in first, second just drops R's and will stall out? by the way it was doing this before I sea Foamed it just incase you think that did something.

I have Some interesting problems like this where I can reach 5,000 rpm and it will just fill like there is a power loss or the power is not being transfered to the fly wheel. The revs will go up just there is no response in the wheels.... I might just got for an engine swap though and drive my Bronco for awhile.

So your saying if you let off the gas the RPMs will go up?
Never heard of a problem like that, are you dumping to much gas in the clynders and its just flooding it and as you let off the gas it recatches it self?

No its bein havin trouble ever since I got the motor in the car but its slowly gotten worse. No it'll rev up a little more not much like not that noticeable by the tach but you'll hear it. idk whats goin on idk if its floodin or what? I just know that I should be able to go up hills in like 3rd gear even goin slow but I can't even go up in 2nd I have to go in first and thats about the only time it will rev almost completley out.

if its the same as the 3rd gen b series then you will need to take the valve cover off and rotate the cams so that the marks line up and then check the flywheel to make sure it is at TDC, or just stick a timing light on it.

Mk I'll try that and let you guys know. unfortunetley I don't have a timing light lol so I'll have to do it the old fashioned way
