Was wondering how to wire my MSD Blaster 2 coil to the stock external coil's wiring harness?
92 Prelude, H22A, Distributor model TD-61U
Thanks for the help.

It's super easy. I used some 1/4" male disconnects so I didn't half to cut off the plug. You could easily solder and tape the wires though. The large yellow and black/yellow are the 12v and need to be connected together to the + side of the coil and the small green is the negative tach signal to be hooked to - . Took me forever to figure it out. I didn't know that one of the 12v wires needed to be fired up. It took a phone pic of a service manual from a buddy at a dealership. Had I been smart and used a meter I could have figured it out in 5 min instead of almost an hour.

Should I use the ballast? I thought it was just for points ignitions.

WTF??? points?? i hope your not talking about old domestic ignition points.
homeboy up top got it right... black/yellow and yellow are ignition power or turn on and the green is your negative tach signal. might as well put a msd 6AL to smooth out the rest of your ignition setup.

No, the coil came with a ballast I was just trying to make sure I dont need it before I toss it.
So did you notice any difference in performance?

Yep, using the stock ignition just adding a better cap rotor, coil, and new stock distributor cause mine was the original from before the swap and it started to leak at the o-ring and got oil all inside of the cap and all over the ignitor and stuff.
