this isn't going to be happening for a while but i'm planning on giving my 91 lude a full respray but i'm not sure what colour i want so that's where ye come in
basically i want to keep it dark and i've narrowed it down to either the standard granada black or midnight purple (sexy skyline colour)

either way i'll also have it lowered and if i decide on the midnight purple i was thinking of putting on a nice set of gram lights with a titanium lip instead of the bronze rotas i have on at the moment

any input would be greatful, even if ye have any other suggestions colourwise

this is granada black (my car isn't a clean enough example)

Definately not purple. I would suggest possibly a deep dark blue. Like a blue where if you took royal blue and added darkness to it that would be fresh. And then titanium the rims and lip and look nice as hell.

if it is the purple i'm thinking of, I think it would look really good. also, i'm all for the titanium lights but then again, bronze isn't one of my favorite colors. do you have a sample of the colors your thinking of?

I would have to say keep it black looks sexy as hell that way would be even better if it was new. Plus to that way you can keep the cost down b/c you don't have to paint trunk, door jams, bay and other part that would make it look 1/2 ass if not painted.

i agree with Colin

if you decide that you def wanna change it up from black than i agree with mark, midnight purple (sexy skyline colour) would look real nice on your lude. and although he is not a fan of the bronze i love bronze wheels and they would look great against the midnight purple.

color samples would def help though. got some pics?

I am all for Purple and I love the idea of wheels with a titanium lip...you would pretty much have my dream car haha Konig also makes an after burner series (my fave) If I had a second lude I would be doing this to it!!!

examples up on top now^^^

i love both colours, i wish i had two ludes so i could have one of each but i plan on giving it a complete overhaul so it's getting a full respray either way, i want to get rid of any imperfections and little rust spots and just want it perfect basically

i personally do like the purple, but i wouldn't change the color if my car was already black. more expensive, harder to do, etc.... the black is already sexy as hell.

if your **** was gramma gold like my car then i'd say change away.

but if its already black, i'd stick with it.

ya maybe your right, i might just wait til i get my second lude (whenever that will be) and paint that sexy midnight purple.
thinking about it now a 5th gen would look even better than a 3rd gen in that purple...

if you do decide to do purple and are interested in sticking to OEM colors at all, the 96-97 Accord SE sedan had a nice plum color, as well as the 98+ Accord Coupe (i'm not sure if the sedan offered the plum)

If I wanted a car I didn't drive every day for work, I'd be way into that purple, or the OEM blue on the del sol, only a little darker, omfg I'd be on that ****.

Anyway, if it's a DD, black is probably the way to go, honestly. You don't want to pay out the ass for a full respray, every little detail, and then get a rock flung at your hood on the highway :/
