Not hard at all. What sort is it, and why do you need it? Does the factory tach not work?

RPM wire goes to the coil, though it's a long time since I've installed an aftermarket tach, so not sure where. The ground goes to a nice clean earth somewhere (not a tin of soil like some have done) and the easiest way to get the light on is to take a feed off of the dash light wire. The rest is all going to be very specific, so without any more info, no more help can be given.

nice! Yea gauges generally arent THAT hard.. some are kind of a PITA but its usually pretty straight forward atleast.

should have bought a apexi rev speed meter man. they aren't huge and ugly and they can take away the jdm speed cut (that is if you have a jdm h22 with a jdm p13 ecu) they also do 0-400meter time (1/4 mile) and all kinds of other stuff along with a shift light here is a vid of mine doing work
