So i have had my 97 prelude for a little over a year now and the paint on it is a light green/gray. I really want to get it in a different color thats more interesting so some aftermarket parts would look better on it. I was thinking of either the Electron Blue, Black, or Arctic White. If i got black i would probably want to black out the entire car (rims, lights, etc.) i just want to know the opinion of you all on what the best color would be and if anyone knows how much a good paint job would cost me.

Thanks.

A good paint job, depending on who you know, could cost you anywhere from $700-$1500 a GREAT paint job can cost you anywhere from $1500-$300. If you are looking into jams it will probably be more.

But like I said ITS WHO YOU KNOW.

Oh and Electron Blue

I would unless you plane to paint every thing jams, engine bay and that stuff. The stick with what you have now. I seen a lot of car done with great paint jobs but open the door and see a total different color and look 1/2 ass.

EBP FTW

Yeah, 99PreludeSH is right, it's who you know. One of my buddy's got his camry painted red with like every pearl there is in there (normally a 3000 dollar job), but he paid like 200 or something ridiculous like that.

I say, if you aren't going to spend the money to get all done right, don't do it at all.
Call some places and find out what they would charge.
Save up the money you would need for the most expensive place, then try to find someone to hook you up.
That way you'll have plenty of cash to cover your @$$.
And if you don't need it all, I'm sure you can find something else to spend it on.

+1 for arctic white
Or get some 5g Premium Pearl White n.n

I have black right now and i would recommend the blue instead. Alot of after market parts look really good with blue. Like if you get a carbon fiber hood and also with my black prelude, scratched show up soo easily. Im finding new ones on a daily bases.
