Weird Ignition prob

I had a spare key made today and it unlocks everthing and it does turn the ignition all the way to the start position. BUT it won't start... nada nothing... BUT it works fine with the factory key. Anyone else ever have this issue? I have never seen this :eek:

The factory key has a chip inside of it that is electronically controlled to start the car when the key is in the ignition....you can not use just a regular key to start the car without that chip...

You ****n me?? Wow OK! Thanks! So if i want an extra that will start the car i have to go to a dealership to get one?

when i got my key at honda it was 60$

I had to order the key set for $150 and then pay a tech another hundred to chip the key, Honda transponders ftw :/
You're going to get a red master key, by the way.
Don't lose it, or you'll be right up **** creek again.
