This car will take some work. But I am glad to be put to the test. I'm excited to make this car a work of art when I am done with it.

"Abbey" huh? haha nice car man, you've got some high hopes for Abbey. I'd love to have a b20a! I'm wondering if you're interested in putting some fogs on. What will happen with the plates? I just got rid of my front plate. haha
maybe you'd wanna have this thread in the "Member's Rides" section?
here are the rules. . .

Actually, in Oregon your not allowed to take off the front plate. Just move it.
I never thought of fog's. Sounds awesome. Not sure where I would put them though. Unless I mounted them upside down. :P
B20 is JDM for the 2nd gen's So it seemed fitting.
I knew about "Member's Rides" But since I will be updating this one... It seemed pointless to pots untill I was done.

I update my member's rides thread all the time.
I'll be watching this one closely, we dont see enough well done 2gs, and your intentions are about on the mark. Keep it up mate.

id love to see the swap!!!
ive been waiting to see a fater 2gp
no offense to the 3rd gens and second gens, but theyre pretty light and drive more like a kart than the 5th gens car like feel, we hit a bump and i felt like we were flying!!
a bigger engine would be nice, perhaps some nice performance upgrades, cams etc and get a pretty good 2nd gen going?

Little bit of an update. Just installed NGK's all around. And installed some fog lights. Looks sexy as ****.
However a cop caught me doing 91 in a 55. So now I need to divert like 400 something dollars to a speeding ticket now. *sighs* God this sucks. Glad I don't have fifth gear. That would suck.

The thing with the b20a is finding the transmission. Also I know that the b20a won't bolt on to the AB chassis (DX models) I'm not sure if the US Si's are the same deal. . .
3geez.com will be the best place for you to fond information on b20as and finding one to purchase i'm sure.
And hwo the hell is everyone installing foglights in like a day when i've had mine since last october and they aren't even mounted!! =( =( haha Photos or ban! Quiero ver!

Okay take a look at this 2g, compared to yours. . .
http://overclocka.no-ip.org/2.0silude/rustwork/rear/9.jpg
that's so sexy i can't stop starring at it myself. . . =P
Anyways, notice the hood with that bump? It's cause the engine is too damn big. haha I think it'll be necessary with the b20a, not sure. The stupid thing is, if i remember correctly, the fenders and grill ( look how cool the grill is!! ) need to be bought too cause your normal fenders won't match up. I think. . .bleh there's so many damn things to remember with what parts fit with what.
Also look under the front corner of the bumpers. . .mmm jdm flip up fogs. . .SO hot with a white b2oa1 2g! That's like my dream car srrsly!
edit.. k i think it's mixing US DX and Si parts with the fenders not matching. So I think you'd need the grill and hood though. A nice swap that's more easilly done and mroe sensible would be the b16.

I think that's what I'll be going with one day, if I decide to do a swap.

What does a 2g weigh Ricker? I would've thought a B16 wouldn't have the torque to be a good engine in a Prelude. They're great in CRXs, and they weigh a little less than a third gen, but their big falling point is their lack of torque.

they weigh in at about 23oo pounds.

So a friend of mine was chatting with me. He suggested moving the liscense back to the middle. And cutting the bottom corners and throwing them down there. I think they would then be to low to do any good though. *shrugs*
I currently have to replace a fog light though cause someone backed into my babe. :(

Putting them down low and in the corner spots will probably be better for light output - more wide beam pattern, and more focus on the road. let your headlights light the way ahead.

Lol, probably becaues it IS dirty. My car doesnt spend alot of time clean. I live on a rock road which kicks alot of dirt around. I sorta live in the boonies. Thats what I get *shrugs*
Took some photo's at night. Thinking about possibly moving them like I said I was gonna do. *sighs* That new speeding ticket is moving alot of money from my car to the law. Money I would rather spend on an engine. Or something.
