How did you guys run your power wire for your amp....i have no idea where to run it from/to/through. Please help, Thanks!

not a pro on sound installs but I'm pretty sure most people punch a hole in the firewall and fish it through to the battery. They usually hide the wire under the carpet.

yeah i know through the firewall but like where is the best place, it gets kinda tight in through there

it's tight everywhere under there you just have to get under there and look. Most likely under the passengers side dash.

your in lucky buddy, i just took pics of mine the other day :tup:


right next to/under the fuse box is a rubber grommet. punch a hole in that, drop the cable, and it'll come out thru another grommet-covered hole in teh upper right hand side of the passenger foot well.

werd. i got 2 power wires, wideband harness and boost guage tubing coming through that one little grommet

i must be doing mine wrong then, it goes straight into the fender and out between the door. I cant seem to fish it near the other grommet.

ok now i need to get my remote wire, im just going to do a switch, so do i just run the wire from the fuse, to the switch then on to the amp? If so how do i rig up the wire?

Run the remote(blue) wire from the amp to your radio. There's a blue wire on the backside of your radio label remote/antenna/amp
