Cologne / Bodyspray Stains

hey, sorry guys but this isn't a performance mod how-to question or anything, but something that just keeps bothering me...

i have some TAG bodyspray stains/leaks on the front panel of my 5th gen interior - asically the whole plastic bordering of the main heating/audio controls.

i tried everhthing to remove them- water, soap, multi-purpose cleaner, but i just cant take the stains off the plastic, PLZ SOMEBODY HELP ME TAKE THIS ANNOYANCE OFF MY MIND AND OFF MY CAR!!

Cloth trim mate?

Try some generic carpet spotter, I found that pulled teh vodka stains up out of the seat of my old car.

ye, i'll definetly be trying some carpet spotter - thanks for the quick advice , but im not too sure how itll work on the plastic rite?

but no not cloth trim, its leather

if that doesnt work, try goo-gone or wd-40; read the labels first though and make sure its ok to use

Stains may not go away - you may have to use some SEM dye to rematch your color. I work in a autoshop - that deals with the interior only. I have had to do alot of "dye" work because of stuff spilling, back tattoos that rub off on the seat - a dog throws up on the dash and the acid eats all the finish off and i had to redye it back. So thats probably your best bet - to redye the dash. http://www.autostyles.com/sem.htm is where you can purchase dash/vinyl dyes. Very easy to use - you just have to kind of know what color to use. The color code on your door near the VIN may be of some help.
