Hey man, congrats on the purchase. I can tell you right now that this will be a learning experience for you. The second gen really feels like the gem everyone forgot (can confirm, trying to find carb tuning info on them). That said, the community around these cars is crazy strong.

Have had mine for 10 years now, and absolutely love the thing. Crazy nimble, super analogue, and fun out on the backroads without getting into felony territory.

Oh, and yeah. If you're having problems, it's the vacuum system. Idle is rough / unstable? Vacuum system. part throttle stumble? Vacuum system. Interior light burnt out? Vacuum system.
