clutchgripshift is on a distinguished road
Just bought an 85

Hey guys, I'm new to the site and new to imports completely! A little back story: My name is Drewseph and I actually come from a die hard US Domestic cars only type upbringing, I used to be a guy who bashed literally everything that was not "American car made". That all changed when I went to a car meet called SpringFest14 back in June of 2014, hosted in Virginia Beach VA. I certainly never expected what I saw, and to the extent; the import scene has a HUGE following! I loved how seemingly every car, whether it ranged from a 240sx, to an AE86 was a canvas of each builder, all of them trying something new and different to stand out from the crowd. That's definitely different from what I'm used to seeing (copy pasted lifted mud trucks and camaros and mustangs)

I've been involved with cars for about 7 years now, and I have personally owned four different vehicles: 1985 F150, 1988 F250, 1998 Dakota, and a 1985 Prelude. Hands down the prelude is my favorite out of all of these I've owned. The prelude is a handling beast, and while she isn't the quickest (2.0 si A20a3 5spd), she certainly is the funnest on the block. Never in a million years did I think I'd ever own an import, let alone a Honda Prelude (I never did enjoy those Honda guys that give the brand a bad name).

I've worked on and helped extensively build a 1978 Ford Bronco XLT, 1976 Ford F100, 1979 Ford F100, 1985 Ford F150, 1988 Ford F250, 1992 Camaro, 1977 GMC Sierra, 1980 Bronco, 1997 Ford F250 Powerstroke, etc etc.

Anyways, here's the point finally!
I just bought a 1985 Prelude SI. I know virtutally nothing about this car, and Parts for it are nearly impossible to find. From what I know it has an original A20a3 motor, 5speed manual, 180k miles (im told the timing belt has been replaced), and it handles like a pro. I want to learn so much and disect the Ins and outs of this car but there isn't much information I can find about it through a google search. I purchased the car for 1050, knowing that it needs a Rack and Pinion, ebrake cable, passenger turn signal housing, and an fuel pump.
(ill finish this post up later)
