Im back, tranny is shifting hard on 1st

Hey guys,

so I went to Oregon for some business stuff...prior to leaving i was on here posting about the issues with my tranny, turns out I had to replace it so I went on a hunt for one, found one on ebay for a reasonable price. The tranny got installed tonight, its bad, first gear is hard to put in, I have to play with the shifter before forcing it in, so I'm guessing it will soon break, there goes another 1400 bucks well spent.

Is this at all fixable with out having to buy another tranny? and if I do, where do you guys recommend that I get it from? or should I go with a rebuild?

Please give me your input guys, I'm tired, pissed off and ready to take my car to the junkers! the car runs so gd nice but I hate that it is not reliable with the tranny issue...no other issues other than that but its pretty much a deal breaker =\

How is your clutch system?
Check out the clutch fork, where the shifter cables connect too...

sorry to hear all your bad transmission luck :(

The clutch is brand new, and the clutch was bled and everything and it seems fine....a really big problem i had before was that my engine shook like crazy on first and second gear til they locked and then it ran good and thats starting to happen now with this transmission on first, and i've barely been driving it like 5 days... sigh

you guys know of any good places to buy transmissions here in Los angeles ,california? or anywhere close where i can get a good rebuilt one with some sort of warranty...

Oh And little foot, i'd of loved to have visited you, i'm secretly in love with you but i'd be foolin myself you're too pretty to be single =)
