New Prelude!Update pics are in*

Hey guys Im yes a Newbie to preludezone! =P
I previously owned a 2001 acura integra LS 5SPD. I got into a accident and the car was already a rebuilt salvage title so i only got paid off 3,400. And i was browsing Craigslist and came across a 1998 honda prelude:

A/T, White exterior, black interior, MINT! Immaculate interior and exterior. 1 Owner, lady bought and driven. All mantaince done at honda. it has 180k miles but its highway miles. the seller traveles from orlando to tampa offten. So i picked it up today.i got it for $3,400. It was raining today so no pictures yet. Tomorrow for sure!

I have some questions i hope i can get a answer! Ok well tomorrow im changing my ludes oil; but im not sure what kind of oil to use with a car with such high mileage! i dont want to use anything to thick or thin. Any suggestions? Thanks for any replys!

couple more question: How does the ebay OEM style lip kit fit? any one have pics?

Does any one have pics of a 5th gen droped on H&R race springs?

Congrats and welcome!

Just use Mobil1 synthetic, that seems to be very popular around these parts lol

The owner's manual recommends 5W-30 for temps to the high 90s and 10W-30 for anything over the high 90s. My Prelude has 167,000 miles and I will be using WalMart SuperTech 5W-30 100% synthetic engine oil when I have it changed next week.

Good luck with you new Prelude!

Awesome dude! Great price on it too.

Somewhere along the life of the car, I'm assuming when you got your tires rotated, they screwed up the rims. Your back right should be on the left side, and I'm assuming one on the left belongs on the right. Just something I noticed because I just got my tires rotated and even though I told them specifically not to screw it up... both sides are wrong.

Anyway, very clean! Looking forward to having you around.
