Eibach Springs

This friend of mine has a set of Eibach coilovers she got for her 03 civic lx (brand new) but doesn't want them anymore. Will those be ok for my 5th gen or should I not even consider it (cause idk crap about suspension)?

it might fit, it might not. who knows.
but they were designed for a civic which is lighter, so they prolly have diff spring rates, and your car will ride like poop.

do it once, do it right

don't put suspension components on cars that they're not designed for, unless you want it to handle like **** and possibly kill you

For 5th gen preludes eibach makes these springs / shocks

Product Front Rear Part #
PRO-KIT 1.3 in 1.3 in 4035.140
PRO-SYSTEM 1.3 in 1.3 in 4035.780

For 03 civics eibach makes these springs / shocks

Product Front Rear Part #
PRO-KIT 1.0 in 1.0 in 4051.140
SPORTLINE KIT 1.4 in 1.4 in 4.5140
PRO-STREET KIT 1.4" - 2.6" 1.4" - 2.6" 4068.711

As you can see, none of these parts are the same...don't try it

and i believe you mean just eibach springs, not coilovers....coilovers give you more control of the ride height, and some say are better than just throwing springs on to lower you ride...just get a good coilover kit made specifically for the lude man....

You don't have to get coilovers if you are on a budget... you can get a good set of new sport springs for 150-220 bucks... I recommend H&R or neuspeed... eibach are good, but I prefer the others.

If you want coilovers save up and get ground controls.

I meant coil overs. Didn't think it would work but wasn't sure so I wanted to ask you guys. Just wanted a second opinion.

^..i didnt know eibach made coilovers, i though they just made springs....but anyway, just save up and get a good set up in which you feel will suit you and your car the best...i have skunk2 coilovers and kyb gr2 struts, looks good and rides good....i would not go for the ground controls coiloves though imo.....

Just out of curiousity, what would be good for a everyday car that goes to the track now and then (not 1/4mile).

well like i said....skunk2 coilovers with gr2 struts are good for everyday...thats what i have...i have heard that the tein basic coilover set is a good option too....these are set ups only if your on a budget for good quality, but not too expensive...i spent $350 on S2 coilovers, and $240 on the gr2 struts....the tein basic kit goes for $750-$850 i believe....both of these are a good way to go for a dd imo...
