Numbers on H22 N/a

I've decided that this car needs to last me and is going to stay a DD, I'm saving forced induction for a RWD or AWD platform. So I understand that N/a power is expensive, but is 250-300whp doable? And what would it take?

Well idk why u have to go with N/A. I mean if its going to be a DD then why would you put more money in it then you have to. A Sc would do around 250 . N/A would be a lot more time, money and more down time. To get about that.

Well is there gonna be any advantage in either path as far as reliability and engine life is concerned?

It more goes to HOW you have it done . Crappy job will get crappy results. A sc put on right with a good tune should run fine all day. Same thing with a N/A build. Now then N/A build will may be a lil better just b/c you are going to put in a lot more new parts.

anytime you put any mods on your car, you run the risk of sacrificing reliability. hell, you run the risk of hydrolocking your engine w/ simply a CAI.
thats the risk you take.

if its gonna be your DD, save your money for what you really wanna pour your money into.
