Ebay SRI

Anyone here buy an ebay intake not CAI but the short ram and have a problem installing it? I had a 95 altima before my prelude and only commplant I had with the ebay intake was installing it. I am wondering if it will be better with the prelude being more of a sports car they might be made more for the type of car. Thanks for the info.

Naa, it's easy as hell. You just undo the four clamps that hold the air filter box, then there are two bolts you undo. Then remove the breather hose from the stock intake, undo the hose clamp holding it to the intake manifold. Then remove the stock assembly.
Now use the hose clamps to attach it to the manifold, and re-insert the breather. Some ebays SRIs have brackets to hold it firm. If so then it's just one more bolt to consider. No modifications are needed.

Hope that helped

that does help a lot thanks. I was going to buy a AEM for $83 shipped but that deal did not go through so I think I might just go ebay again. Do you know and specific off brand on ebay that works good. I had a Bomz on my altima. I am looking for good sound and little better gas mileage. I drive my car pretty easy I know I will prob get worse gas mileage when I first get it on becuase of playing around with it but I will go back to easy driving soon after.
PS. I have a SS tranny scares the crap out of me that it might die a lot of bad vibes around message boards around here. I have 186K on the car and it feels like it engages and disengages (sp) fine but low cruzing speeds acts weird... like I need to get on it more.

Not sure I know mine is a eBay CAI. As I see no decals. Not too sure as it came on the car. I think I would rather have a short ram, my brother just bought the AEM V2 for his RSX Type S. I may get one of those.
