oil light flashing

98 prelude has 234km, had no problems until today. The oil light has started flashing when the car is running. Oil has just been changed with 5w-20, oil level is good
Should I change the oil to a thicker oil like 10w30 or 15w40, is it common for the oil pump to go on these? Also I went back to the OEM airbox from the k&N cold air type just before the light came on, I dont think this matters?
Also there is a hole on the bottom of the OEM box close to the throttle, not sure what attaches to that?
please let me know
thanks

here is an update, car idles very low as well, like 500 when engine is hot, even when you rev it past 2000 light is still flashing, there is oil splashing around the cams from what I can see when I remove the cap, I may just purchase the sensor and see what happens? what do you think?
