Alternator belt tension adjust help please?

Ok so totally stupid question but I can't figure this out for the life of me.
The alternator tensioner for the belt has 2 bolts pass side/driver side. How in the **** do I loosen the belt? Which bolt do I turn and which way?

And yes I know dumb question, but i got a flashlight and can't see **** under the hood..... my belt iced up and slipped off(stupid hood vents and canadian weather)

Nevermind I finally found it in the first section of the manual. There is a locknut on the side of the left bolt(adjuster).
