The clutch is brand new...lets see

right now, first and second gear make my entire engine vibrate when i start to release the clutch and give it gas, once the gear is in the car drives perfectly, its just going into the first two gears thats a problem. The gears done grind through they just make my engine shake when its taking them but its really bad, its nothing mild and i don't want to break the engine by letting it go just because the car drives fine once the gears are in.... it also makes this really weird kind of hissing noise thats pretty sharp when ever the clutch is disengaged but once i push in the clutch the noise goes away....

my mechanic told me its the forks and the something something bearing, lol....

he also told me it'll be more expensive to get it rebuilt than to have it swapped but i can't find a transmission for a good price and a rebuild is running like 1500 + installation( which isn't cheap)

Wear you going to see how mush it would be to rebuild? 1500 seem like they are sticking to a a lil. My friend had a eclipse trans built for about 1200 with clutch and all.

that hissing sound sounds like it might be your input shaft bearing the reason you hear it when you are off the clutch is because the trans is in neutral and nothing is spinning in the trans I had a maxima with the same noise I let it go for 20,000 miles and then swapped the trans on my own, im not to sure but you may want to see if you can use a regular transmission off of a base model and just swap the atts over I mean did you check your engine and trans mounts? but worst comes to worst your tranny will just die I mean maybe you should check some other tranny shops it wouldnt hurt but good luck..

Most wrecking yards should sell them for a reasonable price
