should be 6 1/2 in the front for 4th and 5th gens. 3rd gen and older are 5 1/4 front and 6 1/2 rear.

edit: I think it varies on 4th gen depending on which model you have. someone correct me on that one.

I'm guessing since this is in the 5th gen forum hes talking about a 5th gen prelude

The front door speakers are 6.5" but be careful when you buy new ones because some 6.5" are too long and won't bolt in without modification. Take one of the speakers out and you'll see what i mean. I think most people on here just built themselves a spacer to go under the longer speakers.

6.5" is the size of the front door speaker holes but you'll have to cut the factory speaker basket out to make a larger aftermarket speaker fit. Also if you have a speaker that is more than a 2" top mount depth it will hit the window track unless you space it out some. 6.5" component speaker setups are the best solution for the front speakers. I'm driving my Infinitys with a amplifier and the sound is intense, crystal clear and full without a subwoofer.

Most companies would call it a 6". Most 6 1/2 are too big to fit without some serious modding. JL Audio makes 6 as well as 6 1/2 or Boston acoustics has an RC model (reduced clearance) or any other their nicer speakers will fit. SX line and up.
