rubber noise

I have something that has been bothering me for a little bit. Sitting idle turning the wheel from left to right I hear this sound like two pieces of rubber are rubbing together. Sounds like if you have brand new tires and you drive it on a linoleum floor and turn the wheel. Can anyone help me what that sound could be?.?.?.? could it be the power steering pump or……..i don’t know help me out. Anyone with any idea or a similar problem pls let me know. Thanks!

Always start easy and work you way up.
I was always told that by my autotech teacher.
